Sir Graham Henry’s newest book “Sir Graham Henry Celebrates The World Cups! 1987 to 2015” was launched on Friday August 14th at a luncheon at The Langham Hotel, where all guests received a special signed collector’s edition.

The book explores the drama, controversies and upsets of the first 7 Rugby World Cups and unlocks facinating details of the All Blacks 2011 win. Considered a collectors item, it includes photographs by New Zealand’s leading sports photographer Peter Bush.

MC’d by Tony Johnson, the audience was entertained by speeches from New Zealand’s only two World Cup winning coaches, Sir Brian Lochore and Sir Graham Henry who left them feeling inspired and uplifted.

Fundraising was undertaken throughout the lunch for the NZ Rugby Foundation, which works to support seriously injured rugby players.

Wine was served ‘en magnum’ from the award-winning wineries of Nautilus Estate of Marlborough and Yalumba of the Barossa. Clive Jones, Winemaker for Nautilus Estate was in attendance, as was Jane Ferrari, Winemaker and Yalumba travelling ambassador.  Jane spoke at the event. You can read her account on her blog.
