As the saying goes the only constant in life is change. Find out who has recently joined us, who has moved up the ranks, had a baby or achieved recognition, it’s all ‘a happening right here! 

Announcing the appointment of our new General Manager, and arrival of two new staff in our customer services team based in our Auckland office. Also joining us is a new area manager for the upper South Island region. 

And congratulations to our long serving staff for their continued commitment, and for achieving their long-term service milestones. Thank you for all you have done to make Negociants New Zealand the company it is today!

Negociants NZ Appoints New General Manager
Martin McManus

Negociants New Zealand is pleased to announce the appointment of Martin McManus to the position of General Manager, Negociants New Zealand (Domestic), with effect from Tuesday 5th January 2016. Martin will report to Clive Weston, Managing Director for Negociants NZ.

In Martin’s early career, he succeeded in various marketing oriented positions. He subsequently undertook a number of senior roles within Sony New Zealand and these resulted in successive promotions, ultimately taking him to Country Manager, Sony New Zealand and Marketing Director, Sony Australia and New Zealand.

Among Martin’s strengths, which he will shortly bring to Negociants NZ, are his leadership ability, business planning, financial planning, customer and business partner focus and team development, as well as broad and effective organisational skills.  Whilst not yet a wine industry specialist per se, Martin is certainly enthusiastic about the category and the role that Negociants NZ plays within it and he very much believes in New Zealand’s great wine and food culture.

Erin moved to New Zealand over two years ago after meeting her Kiwi partner in the UK. She has worked in Customer Service roles in a variety of industries, including her previous role at Treasury Wine Estates. Erin joined our customer services team on 27th July 2015.

Sabra Rahiman

Sabra has a solid customer service background, spending the last year working in a sales co-ordinator role in Australia and prior to that a sales support position for Pernod Ricard here in NZ. Sabra is our newest member in the customer services department having joined the team on 31st August 2015.

Also new to the Negociants New Zealand team this year, is Geoff Smith, who has taken over the role of Area Manager for the Upper South Island region.
