Negociants Fine Wine Tour 2019

Our annual wine tour is on this year on the following dates:

Auckland – Monday 22^nd July
Wellington – Tuesday 23^rd July
Christchurch – Wednesday 24^th July

We will be offering a full tasting of our New Zealand and Australian portfolio with winemakers and winery representatives from NZ Wineries: Auntsfield, Black Barn, Fromm, Dry River, Greywacke, Huia, Joiy, Misha’s Vineyard, Mt Beautiful, Nautilus, Opawa, Palliser, Rippon, Saint Clair, Two Paddocks, Urlar and Australia wineries: Brokenwood, Chaffey Bros. d’Arenberg, Chaffey Bros., Jim Barry, Langmeil, Vasse Felix and Yalumba.

Jane Ferrari – Yalumba

At the end of June, Jane Ferrari will be making a whirlwind visit to the Hawkes Bay to compete as part of Team Australia in The Grape Debate. If you have never heard of The Grape debate, it is a trans-Tasman duel over winemaking. Last year’s debate was “Australia makes better wine than New Zealand’, which incidentally Australia won with Jane as first speaker. It is top entertainment, moderated by funny man Jeremy Corbett and all profits go to charity. She will then be back again in August for The Grape Debate in Auckland and she will also be showing the latest releases from Yalumba to trade and consumers in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

Auckland Restaurant Month

Returning to Auckland from 1^st to 31^st August 2019.

Auckland’s biggest dining event is back for its ninth year and will once again showcase the best of the city centre’s restaurant scene across 31 days of incredible foodie experiences. The event will see the return of the popular ‘Chef Dining Series’ alongside exciting new events.

Wellington on a Plate

For the very first time, the 2019 Visa Wellington on a Plate will run over the entire month of August. The longer festival will see events run at various times, starting with Dine Wellington for the first 16 days and Beervana in the middle. Burger Wellington will then run for the remaining 15 days. Festival events and Cocktail Wellington will be held throughout the month.

Taste of Auckland

Thursday 31^st October to Sunday 3^rd November at Queens Wharf

Back again this year at Queens Wharf encompassing both The Cloud and Shed 10 and associated outdoor areas, Taste of Auckland is a popular annual festival where you can indulge in great food and drinks. Negociants New Zealand will have a stand at Taste of Auckland 2019 featuring wine from Black Barn Vineyards from the Hawkes Bay, Nautilus Estate of Marlborough, Mt Beautiful Wines from Cheviot, North Canterbury and Urlar Vineyards from Gladstone.
