2012 Saint Clair Dawn Methode Traditionnelle

Saint Clair has released their first ever methode traditionnelle style wine made from premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. Disgorged with 35 months ageing on lees, this wine is elegant and complex with a rich palate and fine mousse. Dawn Ibbotson is the matriarch of Saint Clair, who accomplished 100 years on 12th December 2014. Saint Clair chose to celebrate this by producing a method traditionnelle style wine named in Dawn’s honour. For the full tasting note, click here.

Delamain Pale & Dry XO Cognac Grande Champagne is now available in a Double Magnum (3 Litre) with cradle. Delamain also supply this format with personalisation. 2013 Yalumba The Triangle Block Shiraz Viognier

This wine replaces Yalumba The Guardian Shiraz Viognier in the Yalumba Samuel’s Garden range. Eden Valley has been home to Yalumba and its Shiraz since 1849. Taking the name Triangle Block from Yalumba’s oldest surviving centennial Shiraz vineyard, and grapes from a handful of Yalumba’s most loved vineyards, the Triangle Block pays testament to this history. or the full tasting note, click here.

 

Alpha Domus

All grapes for Alpha Domus wines are sourced from their own vineyard in the renowned Bridge Pa Triangle wine district of Hawke’s Bay and the wine is all made on site.

2015 Alpha Domus Skybolt Chardonnay

The Alpha Domus First Solo Chardonnay has been renamed as Skybolt Chardonnay. Alpha Domus wines all have names associated with aviation and Skybolt is an aerobatic biplane. The 2015 vintage which has just been released with the new label is vibrant in youth but will develop extra layers of complexity and roundess with bottle aging. 2014 Alpha Domus Foxmoth Merlot

Named after the Foxmoth biplane, this wine was introduced to the Alpha Domus range in June this year. Medium bodied with dark red plums, chocolate, blackberry and savoury tones. French oak imparts spice and vanilla. or the full tasting note, click here.

 

Chateau Musar

Negociants have added the Chateau Musar Jeune Red 2012 and Musar Hochar Red 2011 to the range of wines offered from Chateau Musar winery from Lebanon. The wines of Chateau Musar are unique expressions from a country with an ancient winemaking culture. The Hochar Red is comprised mostly of Cinsault (50%), Grenache (30%) with Carignan and Cabernet Sauvignon. An interesting, well balanced and elegant wine with soft velvety integrated tannins. The Musar Jeune blend is Cinsault, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is bursting with fruit, unfettered by oak but with classic Musar charateristics.
