Staff News Left container Area Manager Off Premise Auckland Danielle GreversCommencing full time employment with Negociants NZ on Monday 27th June, Danielle comes to us with a well-rounded and highly relevant industry background. With an in-depth understanding and knowledge of wine and in particular our portfolio; she was for seven years a Retail Manager with Glengarry Wines. Her role included all facets of being a Store Manager; implementing the Glengarry retail sales strategies, dealing with sales personnel from various companies, sales and product training for the wider group, a tutor at the Glengarry Wine Academy as well as sitting on the wine selection panel. Prior to Glengarry, Danielle had a year at Villa Maria as a cellar hand and most recently has been a Retail Manager for Lotto. She also has a detailed working knowledge of the Auckland Off Premise market through both her Glengarry experience and having had time as an Account Manager for Green Drop. Wellington/Lower North Island Territory Update Hanna Waddington Cenna Lloyd Nicola Earle Some great news for our Wellington/Lower North Island customers; one of our team returns, another accepts a full time position and the team is back to three! Hanna Waddington – we are very pleased to welcome back Hanna following maternity leave. Hanna will be working three days per week based around full days on Tuesday & Wednesday with a further two half days. Cenna Lloyd – Cenna has been with us on contract (covering for Hanna) but she has now accepted a permanent full time position with Negociants NZ. Great stuff Cenna! Hanna & Cenna will operate across both Fine Wine Retail and On Premise as we work towards driving customer call cycle effectiveness. Nicola Earle continues her fine work with the grocery channel. Pink for a Day To raise funds and awareness for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation, the Negociants Auckland office went Pink for a Day. A delicious morning tea was put on for a gold coin donation. As well as the pink treats, we had a pop quiz, and sampled some of the great Rosé wines in our portfolio from around New Zealand and Europe. Eight Kiwi women are diagnosed with breast cancer every day, so we are very proud to support such a worthy cause.
